Talk Back: Thoughts on Tax Cap Override Option
Village Board voted Monday night for ability to override the two-percent tax cap. What do you think?
The Patchogue Village Board of Trustees voted 5-1 Monday night for the ability to override the state-imposed two-percent tax cap during the forumulation of the coming year's budget.
While this does not necessarily mean that the budget will exceed the cap's limitations, what are your thoughts on this vote?
