So true and it's the perfect day to start to think green. There are so many good benefits toRead Morereduce /reuse. I've saved so much; on garbage bags, groceries, and home articles. We grow our own & don't buy bottled water. These were the last 2 added in the past few years. I think of Earth tomorrow for the kids today. :-) happy Earth Day :-)

Isn't it ironic, that one who champions Earth Day, and conservation, would also want a WalmartRead Morebuilt in their community.you ask for people to look around, and reuse what they can, great I agree. Have you looked around a Walmart? Where everything is wrapped in plastic, plastic bags to all, cheap products which will end up in the landfill in a year. Really? Or how about cutting down 15 acres of trees in your neighborhood to build this monstrosity ! Do you really celebrate Earth day everyday? I wish you did , but you can't have it both ways.

ALL THE UPLOADS, ATTACHED TO STORIES, were BETTER, IN THE PAST ! WHA HAPPENED ? LIKE I SAID,Read Moreit's not a coincidence, as THESE UNION THUGS AND TOWN TOADIES, DON'T WANT WAL MART, AND WILL TRY EVERY, LOW LIFE TRICK, TO PREVENT WAL MART . IF THEY LIKE IT, YOU WOULD BE HEARING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS !

THE ORDERS ARE OUT TO THE TOWN TOADIES, BY THE UNION THUGS...NO WAL MART !

Walmart is NOT coming. What was posted was an agenda from planning board mtg. It doesn't say it'sRead Moreap proved, simply a formality that they handed in all the paperwork that town requested. That's it! Walmart has a long way to go before they can get approval from town to build. The community will not let that happen. Sorry to those who want another cheap products store. You will have to keep shopping at the Dollar stores

So I've run it by a few of my co-workers who have live here their entire lives. They feel theRead Moreoppos ite, that Patchogue has gradually improved. I grew up in Nesconset and remember coming to the old record shop in the village 15 years ago. Things have certainly improved. Their children attended Pat-Med and they had no problems. Is there a lot of minorities - yes but so? Center and East Moriches were small town, boring places. Again I hated it. Your perception isn't in line with me or others I have talked to. Move, you sound like you need to. The housing market has yet to recover fully - their are foreclosures everywhere not just Patchogue.

You say your friends children ATTENDED Pat Med....as in they are not ATTENDING now. Just like theRead Moreto wn the schools have changed. The village has improved absolutely; I agree. That is a fraction of the town as a whole. There are nowhere near as many foreclosures in other areas. Many of the houses around here even LOOK like foreclosures they are in such disrepair. I don't recall asking your permission or approval to move thanks Archie. But I will and I am. I will be back now and then until the rest of my family and friends sell and move as well. I will be laughing in 5yrs when I'm driving past bottle bums and burnt out car frames on your block. Then I will laugh even harder when I see the for sale sign on your front lawn. Open your eyes....downward spiral.

My coworker's children are 16 and 19 (graduated last year) and my other coworkers daughter is 22. Read MoreO ther than that, you've become a broken record waste of my time. Hasta la vista, as 30% like to say.

Very misleading word "hiring" do you mean "recruiting"?
