A look ahead at what's on the agenda in Patchogue for today, Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

Here's a look at some of the events and coverage on the agenda in Patchogue for Tuesday, October 1.

Fifth Precinct Open Community Meeting

Officers from the Fifth Precinct will be at the Patchogue-Medford Library tonight at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room A to discuss issues and field questions about police activity in the Fifth Precinct jurisdiction. This meeting only happens once a month, so if you have any concerns head down to the library tonight.

Got Math Homework?

If you're struggling with your Math homework and could use all the help you can get, head over to the library today at 5:30 and bring your homework with you. Free tutors will be in Meeting Room D on a first-come, first-serve basis to help you with those Math problems.

Patchogue-Medford Girls Soccer

At 2-2, the Patchogue-Medford Varsity Girls Soccer team is right in the thick of things, and they'll take on a 1-4 Brentwood team at home today at 4 p.m. The weather is expected to hold up, so head over to the school and catch some girls soccer action.

Patchogue-Medford Girls Volleyball

Or if volleyball is more your thing, the Varsity Girls Volleyball team is also home today at 4:15 to take on the Ward Melville Patriots. The Pat-Med ladies are 4-1 on the season and sit in second place just behind Sachem East. A big game for the Raiders, so head over to the gym to cheer them on.
