4 Days Left to Submit Artwork to Bideawee

Join your fellow Long Island students and submit your artwork before Saturday!Bideawee invites artists grades 1-8 to participate in the organization’s 6th annual “Love Your Pet Art Contest & Expo.”  All are encouraged to use their artistic talent to express their love for animals.  Art entries can represent any medium including drawings, photos, paintings, and sculpture, and must be accompanied by the Artwork Entry Form, which can be downloaded at www.bideawee.org/loveyourpet.  Artwork must be submitted to Bideawee before February 1, 2014.  The first 300 art entries will be displayed for viewing by the public at select times from February 7th – 14th at the Bideawee’s Art Expo at the Adoption Center at Bideawee at 118 Old Country Road in Westhampton.  All are invited to view these expressions of love for pets and vote for their favorite entries.  A $5 donation will grant entrance into the show and help continue to care for the pets in need at Bideawee. Prizes will be awarded in four groupings based on the artist’s grade year in school: 1st - 2nd, 3rd - 4th,5th - 6th and 7th - 8th.  All winning students will receive prizes from Splish Splash, Tanger Outlets, Dave & Busters and more!  After the Expo, winners will be entered into Bideawee’s Facebook Contest to win a Grand Prize $100 Target gift card. Artwork can be mailed or dropped off at the Adoption Center at Bideawee located at 118 Old Country Road, Westhampton, NY 11977 from 9am-5pm daily.  For more information, please visit www.bideawee.org/loveyourpet.
