Alpha Gamma Delta Oklahoma Fundraiser

Alpha Gamma Delta is an international fraternity that was established on May 30th, 1904 at Syracuse University. A group of eleven independent, motivated, and dedicated young women came together to form an organization based on fundamental values and sisterhood. Little by little this organization has flourished and spread internationally. The sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta live with a common purpose which connects all of us together. Alpha Gamma Delta has chapters all over the United States and in Canada.

Our Sisters' of the Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at Oklahoma University tragically had their house burn down in a fire earlier this year. The fire took away their home and all of their belongings. To help our sisters in this time of need, the Sisters of the Lambda Alpha Chapter at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue held a fundraiser to offer support to our sisters. A fundraiser was held on February 24th, 25th and 27th to collect monetary donations, school supplies, and toiletries. All of our sisters are proud to say that we have collected $323.77 and two bins of donations to send to our Sisters at the Upsilon Chapter.

This philanthropy event was near and dear to our hearts. It is very heartwarming and special that we are able to extend our support to all of our sisters in their time of need. The Sisters of the Lambda Alpha Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta are always happy and ready to help others in a time of need and it is a great honor to be able to help our own sisters in this time of need.
