Sushi Restaurant, Apparel Retailer to Open on South Ocean Avenue

North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management has announced two lease agreements totaling 7,400 square feet at 35-71 South Ocean Ave., a 23,000-square-foot storefront retail space in downtown Patchogue. The new tenants include sushi restaurant 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge (4,900 square feet) and apparel retailer Jeans Fashion (2,500 square feet).

Levin's Senior Leasing Representative Jake Frantzman negotiated the transactions on behalf of 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge and Jeans Fashion.

Patchogue, located on the South Shore of Long Island, N.Y., is undergoing a dramatic rebirth that is transforming the 2.2-square-mile village into a dining, arts and entertainment hub. New Village at Patchogue - a $100 million mixed-use development now under construction at the site of the former Swezey's department store - is enhancing the urban fabric of the town and promoting Patchogue as an active, pedestrian-friendly community.

"Patchogue's revitalization efforts are bringing a whole new energy to the downtown area, making it a very exciting place in which to live, visit and conduct business," said Frantzman. "35-71 South Ocean Ave. is ideally located just one-half block away from the New Village development, which will include more than 291 apartment units and hundreds of new residential tenants. 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge and Jeans Fashion will benefit from these strong demographics, as well as outstanding transportation access."

With its fresh approach to sushi and Pan Asian fare, 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge will serve up a broad menu of imaginative cuisine in a stylish and comfortable setting. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, as well as Sunday brunch, according to Cindy Chan, an experienced restaurateur who owns 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge along with two business partners. "Patchogue is an amazing town that is in the midst of a wonderful revival. It was the perfect location for 360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge, and we look forward to introducing an innovative and exciting dining experience to the community," said Chan.
