Brookhaven Animal Shelter: Two Gentle Giants

These two canines are the shelter's adoptable pets of the week.

Below, find two canines who are looking for a home. Here are the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center's featured adoptable pets for the week:

Lollipop is a purebred, young Dogo Argentino with a sweet personality. Animal Shelter think Lollipop is deaf. While all the other dogs bark and jump, Lollipop stays asleep. To get her attention, shelter workers have to vibrate her kennel. She is very calm and gentle and would love a home where she can be spoiled. She is already spayed and ready to go.

Tabitha is a loving Mastiff who is gentle, loves to play and also likes to just hang out. In September 2010, Tabitha arrived at the shelter starving and emaciated. Now she is fattened up and ready to go to a home. Tabitha would do best in a home with no other dogs, but is a  well-mannered dog who just wants to please her owner. She's housebroken, obedient and affectionate.
