Thanksgiving Interfaith Service

Contributed by the Congregational Church of Patchogue

The Annual InterFaith Thanksgiving Service will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd, at 7pm at the Congregational Church of Patchogue. It will begin with the blowing of the shofar (ram's horn) by a member of Temple Beth El of Patchogue and will feature a combined choir and guest organist, Martha Campanile. Rather than a sermon, the clergy/representative of each house of worship present will speak for two minutes on gratitude/thanksgiving. A reception will follow. This one hour service is a great way to begin a season of thanks and blessings in the company of soon-to-be-friends from other houses of faith.
