Funeral Arrangements Set For Man Killed In Medford Crash

Kyle Mueller, 21 of Farmingville, was killed in a single car crash on March 18.

Funeral arrangements for the Class of 2009 Sachem East graduate killed in this week's automobile accident on Express Drive South in Medford have been set for later this week.

Services for Kyle Mueller, 21 of Farmingville, will be held at Marinello Funeral Home on Middle Country Road in Coram on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22.

Thursday's service and viewing will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and then again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On Friday, there will be a 10 a.m. service at Marinello.

Mueller will be interred at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, also in Coram.

In the early morning hours of March 18, police say Mueller was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Express Drive South in Medford when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and careered through the service road guard rail and into a stand of trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

When news of Mueller's death reached officials at the Sachem School District, they issued the following statement:

"The Sachem Central School District is saddened to hear about the loss of Kyle, one of our alumni. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."

Police are still investigating what might have caused the crash.
