Get Out: Weekend Guide for April 2-3

Zumba marathon, Easter egg hunt, bicycle give away and fundraisers this weekend in Patchogue and Medford.

Here are 5 things to know about in the Patchogue and Medford area this weekend! Check the events section for more.

1. , , 155 W Roe Blvd, Patchogue, Saturday 9 a.m.
A zumba marathon benefit event fundraising to fight breast cancer will take place at St. Joseph’s College. Admission is $20.

2. , , 95 E Main St, Patchogue, Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
A limited number of free new and used bicycles will be available to those who need one to commute for work for any reason. Repairs will also be attempted on broken bicycles.

3. , North Patchogue Fire Department, 33 Davidson Ave, Patchogue, Sunday 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
A pancake breakfast will take place at the fire department at 9 a.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt following at 11 a.m. The breakfast will cost $5 for general admission, $4 for children ages 3-12 and free for children age 2 and under. The egg hunt is $2 per child.

4. , , 69 E Main St, Patchogue, Sunday 12 p.m.-2 p.m.
The girls varsity track team will hold a uniform fundraiser benefit at Perabell Food Bar. Raffles, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be at the event. Admission is $40 per person.

5. , , 13 N Ocean Ave, Patchogue, 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Yoga, chanting, music and food to celebrate spring will take place at Yoga Yama. Donations of $5 will be collected to benefit Japan earthquake relief.

The orchestra will play music by european composers. General admission is $15, student and senior admission is $12.
