Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast Scheduled for Jan. 27

Annual pancake breakfast will raise money for Patchogue's sponsored youth programs.

Come hungry and come for a good cause. 

The Patchogue Kiwanis Club's annual Pancake Breakfast is set to take place at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Jan 27. at the Patchogue Fire Department on Jennings Avenue. 

The Kiwanis Club will join forces with members of the Patchogue-Medford High School Key Club and Venture Crew to flip flap jacks, with proceeds targeted to support Patchogue's sponsored youth programs, according to Kiwanis member Walter Ladick.

The Kiwanis Club has a long tradition of working hand in hand with its youth membership, Ladick said. 

During the breakfast, which is open to all, there will also be a raffle of an iPad 2 and a sports memorabilia silent auction. The pancake breakfast is annual tradition that has been held on and off for more than 70 years.
