Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern, LLP Law Firm, which was founded in Patchogue but is now based in Islandia, is celebrating its 100th anniversary by giving out $15,000 to three Long Island charities in an online contest and by creating a fund to take care of the elderly and those with special needs.

"The contest is we're going to award $5,000, three times during the year, and you're going to vote on the recipient of that $5,000," Lawrence Davidow, managing partner at the law firm, said in a video posted on a website set up for the contest.

Davidow says in the video that the charity will be one that aligns with their mission of helping the elderly and people with disabilities.
