Lions Club To Host Annual 'Christmas In June' Event

Event to benefit local children and help celebrate the end of the school year.

The Patchogue Lions Club will be hosting its 13th annual “Christmas In June” event on Thursday to benefit youngsters from Patchogue-Medford’s seven elementary schools.

Sponsored by Gershow Recycling, the annual gathering will provide approximately 140 children selected to participate an afternoon of fun at Boomer’s Family Fun Center in Medford.

Participants will be treated to lunch and given full access to attractions including rides, go-carts, wall climbing, bumper boats and arcade games. The event provides children with the opportunity to enjoy a day of fun as the school year comes to a close, Lions Club officials said.
