March 18: Varsity Scrimmages, Teen Council

Here are 5 things to know about in the Patchogue and Medford area today! Check the events section for more

1. Raiders varsity baseball and boys tennis will be playing home scrimmages at l at 3:30 p.m. Baseball will play Lindenhurst and tennis will play William Floyd. Raiders varsity softball will also play a scrimmage against Centereach at 3:30 p.m. at Oregon Middle School, 109 Oregon Ave. in Medford.

3. (POSTPONED) , South Ocean Middle School, 225 S Ocean Ave, Patchogue, 5 p.m.-9 p.m.
Students will burn calories while raising money for the middle school by participating in the Earn N Burn event. Students participating received pledges to participate in the dance video game event. Proceeds fund school activities. Check the event link for information on how to donate to the school.

4. Teen Advisory Council of the Teen Friends, , 54 E Main St., Patchogue, 5:00 p.m.
Meeting for teenagers to give opinions and ideas on future young adult library programs. Council will meet in the young adult section.
