March 4: Leprechaun Crafts, Bingo and Music

Patchogue-Medford High School places top five in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest.

St. Patrick's Day crafts, a Bingo Fundraiser for The Leukemia and Lymphona Society at the Village of Patchogue Fire Department and bands performing at Patchogue-Medford High School are among what is happening Friday in the Patchogue and Medford area. 1. (PMHS) is one of the top five finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition. This guarantees PMHS the first prize of an $80,000 prize package consisting of equipment, software and a grant, and on April 7 Samsung will announce the grand prize winner of a similar prize package worth $155,000. 2. , , 31 Rider Ave, Patchogue, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Craft-making in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day for pre-school age children and their parent/caregiver.

3. , , 31 Rider Ave, Patchogue, 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.
Leprechaum puppet-making for children grades K-5.

4. , , 15 Jennings Ave, Patchogue, 6 p.m.
Bingo, 50/50 and Chinese Auction to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphona Society. $10 entrance fee and $10 wrapped gift needed to play.

5. , , 181 Buffalo Ave, Medford, 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
Bands Stereo Skyline, Meadowland, Silverstar, Score 24, Quite Storm and Trey Ewald will play at the Patchogue-Medford High School auditorium Friday night. Tickets are $10 at the door.
