Medford Church To Hold Blood Drive

Donors can visit St. Sylvester's on Ohio Avenue tomorrow.

The St. Sylvester's Church in Medford is holding a blood drive to help replenish stores after this most recent snow storm.

The blood drive will be held at the church, located at 68 Ohio Avenue in Medford on Sunday, Jan. 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donors must bring identification with either a photo or a signature in order to donate.

If you have questions about eligibility, due to traveling outside the U.S recently, or an existing health issue, you can find answers from the New York Blood Center website.

According to the church's emailed announcement, donors can also receive Donor Advantage points, which can be accumulated toward a variety of gifts or gift cards. More information on that program can be found at the My Donor Advantage page of the Blood Center's website.
