Media: 48th Annual Main St. Christmas Parade

Best overall float winner is Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce.

The  was held on Main Street in Patchogue on Saturday.

Approximately 60 organizations had a float or presence in the parade, including the Patchogue-Medford High School band, Lucero of America Foundation and Emmanuel Lutheran School.

Village Clerk Patrcia Seal was the parade's announcer and floats were judged by Dennis Smith, Elaine Borowski, Linda Keyes and Jonathan Keyes. Marco Tapia, Mayor of the Village of Gualaceo in Ecuador where several Patchogue residents have family members, also came to walk in the Patchogue holiday parade. The results of the parade were:

Best Fire Department Appearance: Tie between North Patchogue and Patchogue Fire Departments
Most Spirit: Starlight School of Dance
Most Original: Brownie Troop 1330
Best Overall: Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce

Sorry to see that you missed Ovation's Dance Academy in your pictures! Maybe you will come to see Nutcracker Suite at the Patchogue Theather 12/11 and 12/12 and make up for the omission.
