Motorcycle Run Revs Up Fight Against Breast Cancer

Ending in Patchogue, the annual Sticky Finger Run focused on raising funds to fight breast cancer.

Motorcyclists from across Long Island will gather Sunday for an afternoon of riding and music in an effort to raise funds in the fight against breast cancer.

The annual Sticky Finger Twilight Run will commence at 5 p.m. Sunday at Dave & Buster’s Grand Sport Café in Farmingdale with bikers making the 30-mile trek to the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue. Day of event registration begins at 3 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the Fortunato Breast Health Center at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson. The event is lead by WBAB radio personality Fingers, who in the attached video discusses the annual fundraiser.

The entry fee is $20 for riders and $20 for each passenger. Registration includes a commemorative patch, five raffle chances for all pre-registrants (one raffle chance for those registering day of the event), and admission for the rider/passenger to the Great South Bay Music Festival.

The line-up of 20 musical acts will be headlines by Electric Hot Tuna.
