Erik Schmalenberg I was waiting at standby at North Patchogue Fire Dept. I'm an EMT there and we had 60+ alarms that day. It was somehow both thrilling and boring at the same time.
Joan Patricia Steinacher-Napolitano I was sitting here at Avery Village waiting…
Carol Rosebery I was home as my husband was driving back from Virginia.. so my kids and i did all the storm prep. Then set put my house for my grandkids who live on basement apartment to spend close to 6 days until they got electric
John Feinberg Doing rescues in the snow with the ambulances.
Rick Ferrari I got called into NYC for pre emergency standby...then after driving an hour plus and 3 hours on the clock...I was told to go home and come back in the morning...during the storm...hahaha...I stayed home for 5 days making sure my family and property were safe.
