The Board of Education Budget meeting at South Ocean Middle School, Open Mic Night at Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Company, a screening of The Shining at Brick House Brewery, karaoke at Public House 49 and voting in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest are among what's happening in Patchogue and Medford for Tuesday. 1. Board of Education Budget Meeting, South Ocean Middle School, 225 S Ocean Ave., Patchogue, 7 p.m.
Special services, BOCES, transportation and technology are scheduled for discussion. Meeting will take place in the South Ocean Middle School conference room.

2. , , 41 E Main St, Patchogue, 7:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
The weekly open mic night will take place at the coffeehouse.

3. Movie Night: The Shining, , 67 W Main St., Patchogue, 9 p.m.
The 1980 film starring Jack Nicholson will play at the brewery. For more information check the film's Moviefone page.

4. Karaoke Night, , 49 E Main St., Patchogue, 9 p.m.
Bargoers can sing to popular songs in front of an audience.

5. Vote for Patchogue-Medford High School in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest! Grants and technology are on the line for the school that earns the most votes, at PMHS is the only school in the tri-state area in the contest.
