Patchogue-Medford Today: Oct. 27

Activities and events happening today in Patchogue and Medford.

Story and craft time for kids, a geneology class, varsity volleyball game and infant literacy class are all happening Wednesday in the Patchogue-Medford area.

Storycraft, Eagle Elementary School, 100 Wave Ave., Medford, 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Patchogue-Medford Library Children and Parent Services is hosting a story and craft time for children ages three to six and their caregivers. Kids will make a ladybug craft after the story reading that they can take home.

Who Are You? An Introduction to Genealogy, St Joseph's College, 155 W. Roe Blvd., Patchogue, 7-8:30 p.m.

The last in a series of four geneology classes hosted by St. Joseph's Office of Continuing Education takes place Wednesday night. The series teaches students how to start research into their family histories and what documents are available to them. The cost for the four classes is $48.

Varsity Fall Girls Volleyball vs. Longwood, Patchogue-Medford High School, 181 Buffalo Ave., Medford, 5:45 p.m.

The Pat-Med varsity girls volleyball team faces Longwood's team Wednesday evening at Pat-Med High School.

It's Never Too Early, Patchogue-Medford Library's temporary location at St. Paul's School, 31 Rider Ave., Patchogue, 11-11:30 a.m.

The Patchogue-Medford Library is hosting a class for infants two to 11 months and their parents to enjoy board books, rhymes and songs.
