Ruby, a Papallion Mix in Patchogue, enjoys sitting in the recliner chair of her owner Heather Lake and watching the Animal Planet television channel.
Lake said that Ruby was a rescue along with her siblings.
"I rescued her not from a shelter but what happened is a lady who is a hoarder of animals dumped Ruby and four of her siblings at a private groomers home," Lake said.

Not only did Lake take in Ruby, but her mother and sister all each took in one of Ruby's siblings.
Ruby will turn three years old on March 3.
