The video makes use of library staff members wearing colorful hats in the garden on South Ocean Avenue and Terry Street, puppets doing book reports and how children can earn prizes by reading books from the library.

According to Patchogue-Medford Library's website, pre-registration for the summer reading club is Saturday from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. The club begins on June 21. Patchogue-Medford Library is located at 54-60 East Main Street in Patchogue.
