Photos: 50th Annual Patchogue Village Christmas Parade

This year's theme was "Patchogue's 1962 Golden Anniversary".

The 50th Annual Christmas Parade kicked off down Main Street in Patchogue Village on Saturday in front of thousands of spectators.

The parade consisted of more than 40 floats ranging from local fire departments, school bands and scout troops to car clubs and dancers. Workers from the United States Postal Service were on hand again to pick up childrens' letters to Santa.

Santa Claus concluded the parade by lighting the tree on display at Capital One Plaza on Main Street.
