A community resource fair spotlighting organizations that provide services to combat violence and oppression in communities was held recently at .
Titled A “VOICE,” Against Violence & Oppression in Communities Everywhere, 26 organizations from across Long Island were on hand to answer questions and provide insight to the services that they provide in this field. Some of the participants included BiasHELP Inc., Parents for Megan's Law, the Patchogue-Medford Public Library, Patchogue-Medford Youth and Community Services, Long Island Cares, Suffolk Human Rights Commission, Fidelis Care and the Suffolk PreNatal Coalition.
Approximately 100 members of the community attended the event.
