Photos: Easter Egg Hunts in Patchogue

North Patchogue Fire Department and Swan Lake Civic Association hold holiday events.

Community organizations have been holding Easter-themed events in the Patchogue area to prepare for the holiday.

The North Patchogue Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary recently hosted their first annual pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt.

Volunteers from the department cooked up pancakes and sausages. After breakfast, over 200 children searched for candy-filled eggs and took pictures with the Easter Bunny.

The Swan Lake Civic Association also recently held their annual Easter Egg hunt.

Over 100 children joined in the day's festivities which included a egg and spoon race, pin the tail on the Easter Bunny, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and of course hunting for prize-filled eggs.
