Photos: Nativity Lighting at St. Francis De Sales

recently held their annual nativity and Christmas tree lighting celebration. Father Thomas Pers began the ceremony by performing a simple blessing over the tree and then over the manger.

The Patchogue Knights of Columbus put up this year's display and decorated the approximately sixty-foot tree with assistance from the Patchogue Fire Department. The Knights purchased the figurines many years ago as well as built the manger.

Caroling, hot chocolate and entertainment from local musicians Maira and Washington Pazmino also took place.
