A third memorial service was held on Memorial Day at the Patchogue Ambulance Company, after at the Patchogue Village Fire Department and .

Chief of the Patchogue Ambulance Company Christopher Schiera said that the memorial service was held to dedicate the memorial stone and remember those who have served the community.

"We dedicated the memorial stone to two people. Michael Reilly, who was a member of the fire department many years ago. He passed away in 1980 while responding on an ambulance call for a firefighter that was injured. Jeffrey Weiner, who was a first responder [of the Patchogue Ambulance Company] and a hospitalman in the Navy attached to a Marine unit and killed in the Battle of Fallujah in Iraq. Both of them were members of the Emergency Medical community and were associated with our ambulance company. We now have this monument to pay tribute to our members that have died in the line of duty serving their country and their community," Schiera said.
