Ms. Carson's skillful depiction of Rastafarian people in everyday life goes beyond figurative representation. The images illuminate the human spirit in articulated situations. Carson states, "My work celebrates people from many spiritual perspectives and cultures who honor the One Divine Living Spirit that animates us all."
