Q&A

Patch: What is your art, and how long have you been doing it?

Crios: I paint all my life; I was always passionate about art. I can tell I start painting in kindergarten and still… I like to transform feelings and sounds into colors. My greatest discovery at the time of creation is the combination of music, colors, and movement. My two passions in life, music and painting, are always influencing my art.

Patch: What drew you to Artspace?

Crios: I wanted to move to Artspace because I really need a space to be able to work and Artspace has the perfect concepts and is a perfect place for any artist.

Patch: What benefits have you found by living in an artist community?

Crios: I like the fact of being close to other artists, to be always in touch with different ideas and have projects in common.

PatchWhat is your favorite aspect of living in the Patchogue area?

Crios: We are exactly in a middle point to go the city and to the Hamptons area. The Village has grown into a mature phase of arts and cultural appreciation. There is broad range of community development programs with an innovative artistic focus. Very talented artist and musicians are always around.

Patch: What are your future goals?

Crios: I would like to display my art through the entire island but I’m specially focused in NYC galleries.

Patch: Where can people see more of your work?

Crios: Artspace Gallery
