Patchogue FD Carnival Starts Thursday

Carnival open this weekend in the St. Joseph's College parking lot.

The Patchogue Fire Department Union Hook and Ladder are presenting their annual carnival event Thursday through Sunday in the St. Joseph’s College parking lot near the Waverly Avenue and Sunrise Highway intersection in Patchogue.

According to Blue Sky Amusements website, which is the company running the carnival, the carnival's hours are Thursday 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Friday 5 p.m.-11 p.m., Saturday 2 p.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m.-9 p.m.

Parking is free, but the admission price is not as of this publication listed on the website. The company told Patch via email that the ticket prices are $1.25 each, with bundles for 20 tickets for $22 and 40 tickets for $50. All-day wristbands are also going to be available.

A coupon to get $5 off per person can be found in the May 30 issue of the Long Island Advance on page 24. The digital version is on the Advance’s website, from which the page can be printed out, can be found by clicking here and an in-print version is in local stores.

Update 2, 7:58 p.m.: Blue Sky Amusements sent Patch the ticket prices which have been updated in the article. They also updated the hours on their website after being contacted by Patch, and so we have updated our text to reflect their revised hours.

Update 1: An earlier version of this article ran with the hours from Blue Sky Amusements website since they are the company running the carnival. Since the website however is listing hours for a Monday date that is not being advertised in other marketing materials, Patch temporarily replaced that graph with the hours listed in the LI Advance's May 30 issue with a citation. Patch has reached out to Blue Sky Amusements to confirm what the hours actually are.
