Photos: New Mural at Shorefront Park

Bandshell painted by volunteer residents.

Volunteers have begun painting a mural inside the bandshell at Shorefront Park in the Village of Patchogue.

Patchogue resident Andrew Silver designed the mural in cooperation with the Village of Patchogue's Community Development Agency (CDA) and Executive Director Marian Russo.

The mural is expected to depict life in Patchogue Village; from the Shorefront to Main Street. Silver and several volunteers started painting on June 4.
