Supply Lists: River Elementary School
Which school's list do you want next on Patch? Add it to the comments.
Getting the kids back to school is going to come way sooner than you may think, and several Patchogue-Medford School District schools have posted their 2013-2014 supply lists to the district's website. Patch will be posting these from the schools that have made them available, and feel free to use the comments section below this post to talk with other residents about where to find the best deals, or on which school's supplies list you want posted next. For now, here are the lists provided by River Elementary School, 46 River Avenue in Patchogue, with links to the original documents on the district website. Check our Back To School section for the Tremont lists and other Back To School Tips. More lists are coming soon.
This list says to bring in one change of socks, underwear, pants and shirt in a sealed zip-lock freezer bag with name clearly printed in black ink, which may need to be replenished throughout the year. It also says to bring in the student emergency card, a completed free/reduced lunch application if applicable and that for the first three weeks of school parents should send students with a bag lunch including juice boxes since soda and glass bottles are not allowed. The list also asks parents to consider donating to the child’s classroom any new or gently used picture books for the classroom library and one roll of toilet paper.
