One could drive down almost any street in Patchogue and see unsightly, phone, cable, and power wires that have not been properly dressed to improve their appearance. At first I justified this mess because it was caused by hurricane Sandy.
On October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island, NY. At first I ignored the unsightly wires and waited for the repair crews to come back to our area and properly install the wires, so they do not look so unsightly… The repair crews never came! So… After 16 months the wires are still in disrepair.
It might be a good idea to hide these unsightly wires in a PVC enclosure; 4 inch PVC cut in half would do the trick. It would be nice if the Power, Cable, and Telephone companies would come back to our area to finish the repair that they started.
