Incumbent Pat-Med BOE Trustees Earn Another Term

Current Patchogue-Medford Board of Education trustees Donald Atkins and Thomas Donofrio will keep their seats on the Board after receiving the most votes for the two eligible spots. Donofrio received 1700 and Atkins received 1418.

Challenging candidate Kevin Maccabee received 1,020 votes, which was not enough to earn a seat.

For the first time, the election was conducted “at-large,” meaning the top two-vote getters won Board of Education terms that start on July 1.
