Alive After Five Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather

Festival cancelled for safety of vendors and community members.

The Alive After Five festival scheduled for Friday has been cancelled due to inclement weather, as announced on the festival's Facebook page.

This is the for 2012.

The Facebook page status said that the radar does not look good, and that for the safety of vendors and community members that the festival is cancelled.

The next scheduled Alive After Fives are Aug. 17 and Aug. 24.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believe…Read More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
