Blue Point Musician Playing at Patchogue Folk Festival

Travis McKeveny is performing in pre-show session at 2 p.m., on main stage at Patchogue Theatre.

A Blue Point musician will be among those performing at the fourth Patchogue Folk Festival Saturday.

As previously reported, the festival is playing at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The 2 p.m. pre-show in the theatre lobby is free and features Travis McKeveny among the performers, who released his first CD earlier this year.

The pre-show stage also features Folk Goddesses, Rough Folk, Eddie Ayala, Karl Blessing, Leah Kay, Steve Mall and Cassandra House.

The 8 p.m. main stage show features The Kingston Trio, Claudia Jacobs and Gathering Time. Tickets for the 8 p.m. range from $15-$45.

Tickets for the main stage show can be purchased at the Patchogue Theatre's box office or on their website.

Your barking dog complaint in North Patchogue is handled by Public Safety, Town of Broohaven. CallRead More them at 451-6161 and they will take action. The first time the owners will be warned, the next time they will receive a summons.

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believeRead More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
