Welsch: We hope to serve the people of Long Island and Patchogue in particular for a long time by providing a clean, friendly venue in which to enjoy many different types of live performances.

Patch: What types of shows and audiences are you looking into?

Welsch: We do Rock, Blues, Folk, Dance, Metal, Children's, etc. Pretty much any type of live performance including celebrity DJ's.

Patch: What is your favorite and least favorite aspect of running your business?

Welsch: My favorite part of the business is seeing our patrons respond enthusiastically to a performer or band that is really hitting all the right notes on stage, a performance that is lighting up the room. My least favorite part is going home so late at night.

Patch: What specific challenges do you face with running your business and making it work in today's economy?

Welsch: There are many challenges to this type of business.  The high cost of insurance and utilities and property taxes.  The competition for the publics entertainment dollars, especially in the summer.
