Business Beat: Grand Openings in Patchogue

The Emporium and Rudi's opening Saturday, Sketchbook Studio held its opening Wednesday.

Four new Patchogue businesses have their grand openings this week, one from this past Wednesday, one Thursday and two this weekend.

held a grand opening ceremony on Wednesday, and owner Meg Healy is pictured with Chamber Executive Director Gail Hoag, Chamber VP Dawn Turnbull (Bridgehampton Bank), her mother Lynn Russo and Patchogue Mayor, Paul Pontieri.

Eloisa Beauty Center & Spa, 122 Medford Avenue in Patchogue, also held its grand opening Thursday.

And coming to Patchogue this weekend is The Emporium, a new music venue that is also a nightclub and bowling alley, coming to 9 Railroad Avenue in Patchogue. The venue had its first concerts on Thursday, and will have a 70s night at 4:30 p.m. Friday and a Saturday night dance party starting at 8 p.m. Cover fee applies for both.

A grand opening ceremony is also being held Saturday for Rudi's, a new bar which is located at 554 Route 112 in Patchogue. Grand opening is at 11 a.m. and festivities will be all day Saturday. Owners of the bar are Michael Lauria and Jason Rudilosso.
