Canz Closes, BBQ Eatery Coming

Canz A Citi Roadhouse has closed its Patchogue doors, and a new barbecue restaurant is poised to take its place.

The 388 Medford Ave. location's sign has been changed to instead display South Shore BBQ Company. Underneath the name, the sign says it will be opening soon and those looking for work can apply inside.

A sign on the door says that a grand opening is coming soon.

The Westbury location of the restaurant chain is still operating.

What are your thoughts on the restaurant closing? Talk about it in the comments below this post.

Good, I hate Canz and their scumbag owner. They want nothing more than to ruin every place they build in and disregard the entire community when they do so.

I never went to Canz. I feel the name of the place was someone trying to be a "Hooters". I am looking forward to a Barbeque place.

Lets hope its a real BBQ joint and not another Smokey Bones type of place. Since Smokin Al's closed in Bayshore there is a severe lack of good BBQ in the area since BobbiQue down in Patchogue sucks.
