Free Meals for Kids This Labor Day

While millions of Americans enjoy the long Labor Day holiday weekend and celebrate a well-earned day off, 22 participating Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants in Nassau and Suffolk counties, including Applebee's in Patchogue, will be hard at work. Families who dine at one of these Applebee’s for lunch or dinner on
Monday, September 3, will receive up to two free Kids’ Meals with each adult entrée purchase. The free meals are valid for children ages 12 and under, on any Applebee’s “Kids’ Menu” entrée, dine-in only.

Kids can choose one free entrée from the following options: Chicken Tenders, Mini Cheeseburgers, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Kraft® Macaroni & Cheese or Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The meal also includes a choice of side dish and soft drink or milk.

“Not only that, with every kids meal ordered in our Long Island restaurants, we bring a healthful appetizer to the table,” says Marc Prince, Vice President of Operations for Applebee’s. “We serve carrots and celery with dressing as dip. It’s a fun way for kids to learn to eat healthier.”

While the kids enjoy free lunch from the Kids’ Menu, for instance, parents can kick back and enjoy the great value of Applebee’s popular Pick N Pair lunches starting at just $5.99. With choices from select offerings, guests can combine a bowl of simmering soup or a hardy salad like the new Seasonal Berry & Spinach Salad or Fiesta Chicken Chopped Salad with an entree like their new Lemon
Shrimp Fettucine or a Roast Beef, Bcon and Mushroom Melt. It’s a day off from work that even families on a tight budget can celebrate together.
