Gershow Donates Passenger Bus For E. Patchogue Mass Casualty Drill

Gershow Recycling, who have a Medford location, recently donated a passenger bus used by Hagerman Fire Department and South Country Ambulance Corps for a mass casualty drill performed at the fire department's training facility on April 19.

The firefighters and first responders used the bus to emulate rescuing "victims" from a "crash." Students from Bellport High School, members of Hagerman Fire Department Junior Squad, South Country Ambulance Corps Junior Squad and Mastic Ambulance Corps Junior Squad portrayed victims that were treated for their injuries and transported to Brookhaven Hospital.
