Irish Store Leaving Patchogue For Sayville (Update)

Store moving into new location at end of summer.

It will be a little less green in Patchogue this Fall, as Patchogue's Irish Crossroads will be leaving their 22 E. Main Street location and returning to Sayville.

The Irish Crossroads store, which had previously relocated from Sayville to Patchogue, is now returning to Sayville's Main Street at the end of August and taking the storefront left vacant in March by F. Stadtmuller Jewelers at 18 Main St.

The store is running a 20 percent off everything sale at its Patchogue shop so it won’t have as much inventory to move into 18 Main Street, according to the store’s Facebook  page.

Update 7/18, 7:19 p.m.: After Patch published this story, the Irish Crossroads Facebook account left a comment on the Patchogue Patch Facebook Page on why they plan on leaving: "We would have loved to continue staying in Patchogue, it was a great move for us almost six years ago. However, the building in which Irish Crossroads is located was sold and the new owner did not renew our lease; he wants the store space."
