New Board Members Elected to Medford Chamber of Commerce

Two new board members and a chamber secretary were appointed.

The Medford Chamber of Commerce announced their two newly elected board members and chamber secretary at their final meeting of the year on Thursday at the in Farmingville.

The board members are Lauren Nichols, assistant director of the Patchogue-Medford Library, and Paige Tarver, owner of Medford Florist & Boutique. They will be joining board members Marc Andrew Kramer , Esq.; Paul Vaas of Suffolk County National Bank; and Jim Gubitosi, past Chamber president and owner of the Medford Music House. Valerie Caiazza of Servpro is the newly elected Chamber secretary.

Officer positions were not up for election, and will be up for re-election next year. These include Chamber President Michael Gorton, 1st Vice President Tony Kelly, 2nd Vice President Sharon Hamilton, 3rd Vice President Larry Jaeger and Treasurer Wayne Neumann.

Also announced at the meeting:

Sunday, December 5 is the Medford Holiday Parade. It will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Tremont Avenue and head north to Medford Memorial Park where there will be a tree lighting ceremony.

Medford Fire Department will also hold their annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa on that Sunday. Tickets are still available.

The Medford Chamber of Commerce Holiday Installation Dinner is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 16 at Crowne Plaza in Holtsville at 7 p.m.
