New Village Tenants May Be Moving In Q1 2014

Construction estimated to be completed by summer 2014.

Construction of New Village continues at the Four Corners intersection of Main Street and North Ocean Avenue in Patchogue, and prospective tenants looking to rent an apartment may be able to early next year.

Rob Loscalzo, chief operating officer of Tritec Real Estate Inc., told Patch Tuesday that its estimated the first residents to occupy some of the 291 residential units being built at the former Swezey's Department store location will be able to move in during the first quarter of 2014.

Construction on the $100 million project, which also includes business and office space, is estimated to complete by summer 2014, Loscalzo also said.

Loscalzo added that around 150 people have signed up on the company's New Village website as being interested in possibly renting an apartment. Pre-leasing is also estimated to start in the first quarter of 2014, he said.
