Residents that find Patchogue Village's new parking meters confusing can get help from the company who makes the meters Monday.

According to an email from David Kennedy, executive director of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, Park Mobile will be setting up an information kiosk Monday at 8 a.m. in front of Roast Coffee and Tea Trading Company, 41 E. Main St. in Patchogue.

The company will be explaining to residents and business owners how the new meters work, and how to make payments to them via smartphones.

What are your thoughts on the meters? If you visit the information kiosk, what are your thoughts on how to work them? Talk about it in the comments below this post.

Why not put a video on line?

what if you live out of town and come to visit, how would you know how to work them. Put something online to show everyone not just patchogue residents.

Sandy and Cheryl, while I don't yet know if the company has a video online, I made my own video on how to use the parking meters in our previous coverage here: http://patchogue.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/village-parking-meters-now-operating-hands-on

Video was clear. Looks like you can pay for any parking space at these meters. Can't forget the # as it is on the receipt. Thanks.
