Patchogue St. Patrick's Day Parade Coming March 17, Plus Irish Events

Irish-themed events coming to Patchogue from Feb. 12-March 17.

St. Patrick's Day is over a month away, but Patchogue's Irish themed events are starting next week.

The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts will have two Irish-themed shows, Ireland-The Show on Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. (Tickets cost $47-60) and Irish style singer Ronan Tynan on Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. (Tickets $50-$57).

Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce told Patch that the annual passing of the sash and Irish soda bread contest will be on the Barefoot Princess Boat at Harbor Crab Company Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade will be on Sunday, March 17 at 12:30 p.m., starting at the intersection of Route 112 and East Main Street, continue west and conclude at West Avenue. Shortly before the parade will be the traditional May The Road Rise To Meet Ye 5k at 12:20 p.m. and a Children's Fun Run at 12:25 p.m.
