Queen City Cupcakes To Re-Open Jan. 3

Dessert shop changes owners.

Queen City Cupcakes will start a new life in the new year.

The 62 W. Main St. Patchogue shop will re-open under new ownership on Jan. 3, according to a recent post on the business's Facebook Page.

The store, which initially closed in November, has recently been sold by previous owner Carol Reitz-Butler to Lisa and Andres.

Reitz-Butler thanked residents for their support, and will be running her interior design company as well as helping her husband's carpentry company, Better By Butler, Inc.

In response to Facebook comments by residents, the new owners said they are planning to hold a grand re-opening event soon.
