The Paumanok Veterinary Hospital, 639 Route 112, Patchogue, NY was recently  honored for its commitment to workforce diversity  for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Two very prestigious organizations took note of its achievements by bestowing awards.  On October 11, 2013, The Long Island Working Partnership gave Paumanok its "National Disability Employment Awareness Month"  award.  And on October 16, 2013, Paumanok received the “Works For Me Recognition Award” in the category of Small Business Employer of the Year from the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
