Local artist Cheryl Frey Richards is looking for volunteers 18 and older to have their portraits painted for a public portrait installation at ArtPrize 2012.

Local artist, Cheryl Frey Richards is looking for volunteers 18 and older to have their portraits pinted for a public portrait installation at ArtPrize 2012 (http://www.artprize.org).

The installation entitled "I Am Immortalized" consists of 100 individual portraits of real people. Beside each portrait will hang a short story in the individual's own words about how they would like to be remembered.

This is YOUR chance to be immortalized! All paintings are 8"x8" and painted in a modern pop style. No last names or private information will be needed for the installation; just your face and your words!

Please email Cheryl at: freyrichardsart@yahoo.com to express interest in the project. More information can be found at http://www.facebook.com/cfreyrichards

Thank you in advance!

Don't know what the Town ordnance is, but if you live within the Village of Patchogue, I believeRead More there is a "15 minute rule" in the code. Basically, if the dog is barking for more than 15 continuous minutes, it's a violation subject to a fine. Call public safety at 475-1225. Keep in mind it's probably not their first priority (unless the dog has a bad attitude, and is carrying a weapon), but they will be responsive, eventually.
